Around Tirumala

Most of the people visit only Tirumala. But there are some more places to visit nearby. 1. Papavinasam 2. Akasaganga 3. Japali Temple 4. Venugopala swamy temple
From Tirumala, Papavinasam is just 15 Km away. APSRTC buses are available at Tirumala Bus stand to Papavinasam. You can get bus pass for to and fro in bus itself. By using that bus passes you can travel cut journey in-between Tirumala to Papavinasam. If you travel to Papavinasam you can see wonderful scenery. It is very nice location.
First we directly went to Papavinasam. There is one small park available. You can do shopping on the way to Temple. Temple is adjacent to dam. We could not see little drop of water in dam. But sightseeing is very nice there. Then we came back to Tirumala direction. Next immediate stopping is Akasaganga. Once you get down from bus you have to walk through steps towards down. Here also you can do shopping. There is one small falls available. When we went, there was less water. Adjacent to dam one Temple is there.
We came up and catch bus towards Japali. If you have bus-pass no need to buy ticket again. Most of the people won’t get in Japali bus stop. But only we get down. Near the bus stop you can see entrance for temple. You have to walk nearly 2 Km through steps to reach Aanjaneeya swamy temple. Before starts to go with steps right hand side another dam available. I went to that place. No one was there. We walked to the temple. For elders it is difficult to walk in steps. So better to get help of younger’s to reach there. In between, you cannot shop anything. Here you will get chance to enjoy nature as well as calm. We visited the temple. For this god one spiritual story is there.
We came back to japali Bust stop. From Tirumala to Papavinasam there is very less bus frequency. We waited more than 20min in that bus stop. Next we reached Venugopala swamy temple. After get down from bus and while going to temple you can do shopping. I bought one wood cum elastic snake.
Finally you have to come Tirumala to get bus to Tirupati. We came to cottage and vacated the room by hand over the key to officers. Near to all cottage Deposit Refund counter is available. We refund the Amount and Started to Tirupati.

Alamelu Manga Temple

When you visit Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swami you should visit Alamelu Manga Temple. This is the temple in Tiruchanur. We got the chance to visit this temple while coming back. Depending upon your time you can visit before or after visit of Tirumala.
From Tirupati to Tiruchanur APSRTC buses available. Same like Tirupati-Tirumala you can buy return ticket also in Tirupati bus stand. This counter is different from Tirupati-Tirumala counter. We get in the bus and met one nice person Mr.Navani in bus. He also wanted to visit Alamelu Manga Temple. He guides us to Darshan in that temple and we shared some useful things. We reached temple at 8.30pm
In this temple also luggage, Mobile phones are not allowed inside. Separate counter available for surrender. Luggage and shoe/Slipper counter available in the entrance of temple. Mobile phone counters available after the entrance and left hand side of the way. Here Quick Darshan tickets available. Mr.Navani suggested us to buy tickets. We did the Darshan nicely. In this temple also you can buy laddu prsatham(Rs 10/- per laddu).
We came back to Tirupati in APSRTC bus and finished our dinner. I and my friend said good bye to Mr.Navani. Because he is staying at Chennai. We started journey to Bangalore.
